Dr. Sarram graduated from the University of Washington Medical School in 1995 and completed his general surgical and urology training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Following his residency in general urology, Dr. Sarram completed a one year fellowship at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA. While in Seattle, he received sub-specialty training in the field of laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Sarram joined Advanced Urology in September 2002. Besides General Urology, he has an active interest in Laparoscopic Urologic Surgery. He offers our patients minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopic nephrectomy, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, laparoscopic pyeloplasty, and DaVinci Robotic Prostatectomy. He is also trained in cryotherapy of small kidney masses as an alternative to surgical removal of these tumors. Dr. Sarram has also obtained specialty training in the field of Vasectomy Reversal, providing his patients with excellent outcomes. Additionally, Dr. Sarram offers a wide variety of urologic care, including Kidney Stone Disease and Prevention, Prostate Health, Female Incontinence, and Voiding Dysfunction.
Dr. Sarram is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the Society of Laparo-endoscopic Surgeons, the American Urological Association, and the Association of Clinical Urologists.
Dr. Sarram lives in Denver with his wife and son. He enjoys the outdoors, particularly bicycling, skiing, and hiking, and admits to being a terrible golfer! He is fluent in Farsi and German.
